Roof Thermal Insulation

Roof heat insulation is insulation installed under the roof, either on or under the purlins, which differs from ceiling insulation. Roof insulation is directly attached to the roof area, so moisture is an important consideration.
For roof heat insulation, consider these properties:
Insulation must not retain water or absorb moisture, as this reduces insulation value.
Insulation must not promote mold growth, as it will be near the roof where moisture is high.
If there’s no ceiling and people use the space, fiber insulation should be wrapped in aluminum foil on all sides to prevent moisture and fiber shedding.
If the height from floor to roof is not great, use insulation with a thickness of 50 mm or more.
