ESKIMO FOIL 350 Single-Sided Aluminum Foil

ESKIMO FOIL 350 is a Heat Reflection Sheet made from Pure Aluminium Foil laminated to Kraft Paper with a Fiber Reinforcement layer to enhance the durability of the reflective sheet.

How to Install ESKIMO FOIL Heat Reflective Sheet

Typically installed under the Purlin or on the Rafter before roofing:

1. Horizontal Laying: Place the foil across the roof slope, starting from the eaves up to the ridge.
2. Overlap: The top sheet should overlap the bottom sheet by at least 5-10 cm to prevent leaks and close heat gaps.
3. Fixing: Use nails or screws for steel roof frames, or use wire mesh under the foil to prevent long-term sagging.
4. Sealing Joints: Use Aluminium Foil Tape to seal all joints and screw heads to prevent moisture and hot air leakage.

 

Use with “Thermal Insulation”

For Double Protection, we recommend using ESKIMO FOIL with Glasswool or Rockwool.

• Mechanism: 1. ESKIMO FOIL “reflects” Radiant Heat at the first stage. 2. Glasswool/Rockwool “slows” and “blocks” heat (Conduction) from passing down to the ceiling.
• Installation Technique: Lay ESKIMO FOIL under the roof tiles and place blanket insulation on the ceiling. This method significantly reduces attic temperature and blocks nearly 100% of heat from entering the room.

 

Use with “Acoustic Insulation”

For rooms requiring silence, such as bedrooms, meeting rooms, or noisy factories, using ESKIMO FOIL with acoustic insulation helps with both temperature and noise pollution.

• Drywall Installation (Double Wall): * Place ESKIMO FOIL against the outer wall (sun-facing side).
  • Insert Rockwool or Acoustic Board into the stud cavities.
  • Cover with gypsum or smart board.
• Benefits: * Soundproofing: High-density insulation helps with Sound Absorption and reduces Sound Transmission.
  • Heat Protection: The foil reflects heat from external concrete or wooden walls, preventing it from radiating into the room.
