Hot water piping systems distribute hot water throughout buildings for various uses, such as in hotels and food industries where hot water or steam is essential. The pipe systems require insulation to maintain temperature until the endpoint<\/p>\n

Pipe-shaped glass fiber insulation has a density of 64 kg\/m\u00b3 to maintain shape and ease installation. It can withstand temperatures from normal to 540\u00b0C. For higher temperatures, rock wool insulation is more suitable, but below 540\u00b0C, glass fiber is more cost-effective with similar efficiency<\/p>\n

Installation Guidelines<\/strong><\/h2>\n

  1. For pipe insulation installation, order appropriate sizes using internal diameter for steel pipes (Pipe Size) and external diameter for other metal pipes (Tube Size)<\/li>\n
  2. Install insulation around pipe, slightly notching the inner edge lengthwise for easier fitting<\/li>\n
  3. Cover insulation with stainless jacket or aluminum foil to reduce heat transfer. Using dark surface materials or paint helps reduce surface temperature in high-heat systems and prevents condensation<\/li>\n
