SCG Fiberglass Insulation for Roof Heat Protection

The roof is the first point of contact with solar heat. Metal sheet roofing can reach temperatures up to 70°C at noon. Without proper heat insulation materials, workers under such roofs experience extreme discomfort and heat stress.

In cold storage warehouses, without roof insulation, significant cooling loss occurs, forcing cooling systems to work harder and resulting in extremely high electricity costs.

Roof Fiberglass Insulation

Roof insulation not only prevents heat transfer from the roof but also helps retain indoor cooling effectively. Fiberglass insulation excellently blocks heat transfer at an economical cost.

Installation Guide

1. Weld wire mesh on purlins, lay insulation across metal sheet roof purlins

2. Tie wire on purlins, lay insulation across purlins or tie wire under purlins for fiber cement, metal sheet roofing

3. Weld wire mesh under purlins, lay insulation in roof channels for fiber cement, metal sheet roofing

4. Install wall plugs and stretch wire, or use spikes and caps
