Stone Wool
Stone Wool for high-temperature industrial applications can withstand temperatures from 350°C – 850°C (depending on the model). It is available in two series, ProRox and RockTech, across four formats: Blanket, Slab, Wire Mat, and Pipe Section.
ProRox is a premium industrial series specifically engineered to control impurities and chloride content, featuring WR-TECH innovation to mitigate Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
ProRox BL (Blanket) is a stone wool roll or continuous sheet with a density of 60 – 100 kg/m³.
ProRox SL (Slab) is a stone wool board sized 0.6 x 1.20 m, with a density of 60 – 160 kg/m³.
ProRox WM (Wire Mat) is a stone wool roll or continuous sheet stitched with galvanized or stainless steel wire mesh, with a density of 80 – 128 kg/m³ and thickness of 25 – 100 mm.
ProRox PS (Pipe Section) is a pre-formed stone wool pipe insulation sized for Iron Pipe Size (IPS), with a density of 120 – 150 kg/m³, pipe sizes 0.5 – 32″, and thickness 25 – 100 mm.
RockTech is ROCKWOOL’s secondary industrial series, incorporating recycled stone wool fibers in the production process to offer a more economical price point than the ProRox series.
RockTech B (Blanket) is a stone wool roll or continuous sheet with a density of 80 – 100 kg/m³.
RockTech WM (Wire Mat) is a stone wool roll or continuous sheet stitched with galvanized or stainless steel wire mesh, with a density of 80 – 100 kg/m³ and thickness of 50 – 100 mm.
