MIRON XPE Air Duct Insulation

Price Price range: 12,600.00 บาท through 30,600.00 บาท

Product Details

Thermal insulation MIRON is made from Polyethylene Foam that has been chemically cross-linked for a tighter structure (Chemical cross-linked) making the XPE foam insulation have smaller and finer bubbles compared to traditional PE foam

MIRON has 3 times more air bubbles within the insulation material than regular PE insulation 3 times which is a key factor that gives MIRON insulation a low thermal conductivity of only 0.025 W/m.K high flexibility and with its 100% closed-cell structure, it prevents moisture and water penetration

XPE thermal insulation is therefore used for insulating centralized air conditioning systems (Chiller System) both in air duct systems and chillers

Applications

  • Install under metal sheet roofing to prevent heat
  • Install on ceilings and walls for heat insulation
  • Wrap air conditioning ducts to prevent condensation
  • Insulate pipe systems and machinery to prevent heat

MIRON

Thermal insulation MIRON is made from Polyethylene Foam that has been chemically cross-linked for a tighter structure (Chemical cross-linked) making the XPE foam insulation have smaller and finer bubbles compared to traditional PE foam

XPE has 3 times more air bubbles within the insulation material than regular PE insulation 3 times which is a key factor that gives XPE insulation a low thermal conductivity of only 0.025 W/m.K high flexibility and with its 100% closed-cell structure, it prevents moisture and water penetration

MIRON thermal insulation is therefore used for insulating centralized air conditioning systems (Chiller System) both in air duct systems and chillers

Operating Temperature

XPE insulation has a wide operating temperature range, usable at temperatures as low as -90 degrees Celsius and up to 105 degrees Celsius, with a relatively low density of only 25 – 35 kg/m3 making the insulation lightweight This also reduces the cost of structures used to support the insulation

Thermal conductivity

Thermal insulation is extruded into long sheets and chemically cross-linked resulting in insulation with bubbles that are smaller and finer than regular PE insulation by 3 times This results in a low thermal conductivity of only 0.025 W/m.K making it a highly efficient thermal insulation

M-PE Insulation Thickness Thermal Resistance
M2.K/W
XPE 5 mm 5 mm 2.12
XPE 10 mm 10 mm 2.32

Water Absorption

MIRON thermal insulation has a closed-cell structure preventing water and moisture penetration (water absorption rate 1.5 g/m2) thus helping to prevent water in roofing systems and condensation in air conditioning systems

Ozone Resistance

Insulation MIRON has passed ozone resistance testing (Ozone Resistance)by the Department of Science We used an ozone test 50 pphm at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius for a total of 72 hours. continuously The results showed no cracking or reactions from the ozone test We can therefore conclude that MIRON insulation has ozone resistance capability

Chemical Resistance

The chemical resistance of MIRON insulation has been certified by the Department of Science, which we sent for testing with Acetic Acid (Acetic Acid) Sulfuric Acid (Sulfuric Acid) Hydrochloric Acid (Hydrochloric Acid) Ammonia (Ammonia) and Nitric Acid(Nitric Acid) From these tests insulationMIRON showed no changes Therefore, we can conclude thatMIRON insulation does not react with these chemicals
