Hot and cold pipe insulation work

Hot-cold pipe insulation is insulation that can prevent heat transfer. The insulation has low thermal conductivity, prevents contact with heat/cold, and maintains stable internal temperature
Pipe insulation is divided into 2 types by application:
Hot Pipe Insulation is insulation that can withstand high temperatures, suitable for hot water pipes, steam pipes. There are 2 types:
Glasswool Pipe Insulation made from molded glass fiber, density 64 kg/m³, sized for steel pipes, usable up to 540ºC, available in 2 brands: SCG and MicroFiber
Stonewool Pipe Insulation made from molded stone wool, density 120 kg/m³, sized for steel pipes, usable up to 650ºC, available only in ROCKWOOL brand
Cold Pipe Insulation is insulation with low thermal conductivity, mostly closed-cell like black rubber or PE insulation to prevent water absorption. There are 2 types:
Black Rubber Pipe Insulation made from synthetic Elastomer rubber, flexible, tough, black color, usable from -57ºC to 125ºC, available in 3 brands: Aeroflex, Maxflex, Armaflex
PE Pipe Insulation made from IXPE, rigid surface, non-flexible, aluminum foil surface, moisture resistant, usable from -80ºC to 100ºC, available only in Thermobreak brand
