Aerotape is a black insulation tape made from synthetic rubber by Aeroflex. It is an EPDM rubber with a closed-cell structure, having a low thermal conductivity of 0.04 W/m.k to prevent condensation and reduce energy loss.
Applications:
- Sealing duct joints
- Sealing flange joints to prevent air leakage
- Sealing insulated chilled water pipe seams
- Wrapping air conditioning pipes or valves
